Contabo Review Three year user experience. Best VPS Provider

If you are planning to get a server from Contabo, read my Contabo Review first. I share my experience with Contabo over the last three years.

I have been using Contobo for the last three years. In this video, I will share my experience with Contabo during that time. 

First of all, Contabo has a wide range of services. And I used a few of their services, including Cloud VPS, Storage Servers, and Object Storage.

Plan and Pricing 

Compared to other hosting providers, Contabo has reasonable and affordable pricing for its services. But if you purchase the monthly plans, you have to pay a one-time setup fee. And considering other companies with a high price tag, the setup fee is not a big deal. If you choose the yearly plan, you can waive the setup fee.

I am currently using five cloud VPSs from Contabo. And the price is less than $7 a month. 8GB of RAM and a 200 GB SSD with four cores for $7 is a good deal. 

Once you order a server, it may take up to 30 minutes to deploy. You can use your credit card, PayPal, or Skrill to make a payment with Contabo.

But if you forget to pay the invoice on time. They will charge a 20 euro late fee. It happened to me once. I haven’t checked my emails in a while, and my invoices are past due. I emailed them and asked them to waive the late fee. Thankfully, they waived off 50% of it. And I paid 10 euros as a late fee.

Contabo Review Performance. 

I said at the beginning of the video, I have been using Contabo for the last three years. if I had any performance issues, I might transfer all my VPS to another hosting provider. i won’t say that I haven’t faced any issues. i had once. One of my server loads was increasing automatically without having any traffic on it. I contacted support, and they said they would change the server node. And they did it within 1 hour. My issue is fixed. I haven’t faced any downtime till now. If you face the same issue as I did, just email them, and they will solve the issue.

Let’s test the server response with a ping test. 

When I run a ping test, it will send a request from India to Germany, where the server is located, and return a request back to my PC. It took 127 milliseconds to finish the journey. 

Support

Let me tell you, Contabo has a very good support team. But the ways of contacting support are complicated.  

They don’t have live chat support or a support ticket system on their website. I hope they may sort this out soon. 

Currently, we can contact Contabo support via email or phone number. 

I tried email support, and I got a reply within 20 minutes. 

I think they will add more options for support in the future.

Contabo Review Conclusion 

As a web developer and blogger, I do really like the service Contabo provides for us. Contabo provides high-quality hardware for a low and affordable price. i do really recommend their service.
